General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):
The HEOR summer intern will actively contribute to various oncology HEOR projects with guidance to gain real-world HEOR research and launch support experience while developing relevant skills such as business acumen, strategy development, problem-solving, and project management that will better prepare the intern for a future career in the healthcare industry. The intern will work with cross-functional teams and interact with key stakeholders to understand the role of HEOR in the pharmaceutical industry.
Essential Functions of the Internship:
The intern will be involved in HEOR projects such as real-world evidence, epidemiology, burden of disease, health economic models, dossiers and HTA submissions. The responsibilities of the intern will include but not limited to conducting, managing, or participating in HEOR projects related to literature review, real-world data analysis, economic modeling, dossiers, data communication, presentations and publications.
Education Required:
Currently pursuing an advanced degree (PhD, Pharm D, MS, MPH) in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, Health services Research or related discipline.
Computer Skills: PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Statistical analysis skills (preferred)
Other Qualifications:
Pay Rate: Masters $38/hr and PhD: $40/ hr
