What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete coding analysis for each individual patient stay to ensure accurate coding
- Provide accurate diagnoses, procedures, and other relevant data for financial reimbursement and statistical data accumulation
- Engage in complex coding scenarios across multiple sites
- Perform related duties as assigned, including inpatient and outpatient coding tasks
- Collaborate with team members to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an associate or bachelor's degree program in health information or successful completion of a coding specialist program
- 3-5 years of experience in ICD-10/CPT coding
- Certification as CCA, CIC, COC, CCS, CPC, HCS, CEDC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in ICD-10/CPT coding
- Additional certifications in coding specialties
- Experience with coding software and electronic health records
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
