What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete coding analysis for individual patient stays ensuring accurate assignment of ICD-10 and CPT Codes
- Provide accurate diagnoses, procedures, and relevant data for optimal financial reimbursement
- Accumulate statistical data and collect unique and pertinent information
- Participate in team activities to support multiple sites with complex coding scenarios
- Perform related duties as assigned, which may include inpatient and outpatient coding tasks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an associate or bachelor's degree program in health information or completion of a coding specialist program
- 3-5 years of experience in ICD-10/CPT coding
- Certification as CCA, CIC, COC, CCS, CPC, HCS, CEDC, RHIT, or RHIA
- Strong understanding of coding standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in ICD-10/CPT coding
- Additional certifications in coding specialties
- Experience in a healthcare setting with diverse coding scenarios
- Familiarity with coding software and electronic health record systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
