What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead physical activity and active living work funded through the State Physical Activity and Nutrition (SPAN) grant
- Develop and implement strategies related to active living, community design, and physical activity promotion
- Build relationships with internal and external partners to advance policy, system, and environmental changes
- Represent ADHS SPAN and SNUPA activities at collaborative meetings and contribute to state plans and grant applications
- Complete program and financial reporting requirements and evaluate services provided

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design, Urban Design or Planning, Community Planning, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in public health programming, sustainability, rural and urban planning, or public administration
- Knowledge of community design, sustainability, public health approaches, and health equity
- Understanding of the impact of community design on physical activity and healthy food access
- Familiarity with performance management, continuous quality improvement, and Lean methodologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience in public health programming, sustainability, rural and urban planning, or public administration
