What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and maintain claims processes for medical leaves, including document preparation and communication with employees and insurers
- Coordinate employee leave notifications and ensure appropriate compensation during leave transitions
- Maintain communication with Occupational Health Nurses and Case Managers regarding claims
- Process modified duty payroll sheets and perform necessary calculations and auditing
- Organize health and wellness articles for company newsletters and annual flu clinics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Health Administration
- At least 1 year of experience in Health Administration, Disability Claims, Health/Social Services, Worker’s Compensation, Benefits, or Human Resource Administration
- Strong comfort level with payroll-related calculations and auditing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and internal customer service skills

- ASIST certification is an asset
