- Washing/ bathing and repositioning patients
- Assisting with patient toileting/elimination
- Completingobservations e.g. pulse, blood pressure and temperature, completing ECG or bladder scanning (with additional training); venepuncture and cannulation.
- Day shifts (07:30 am until 20:00 pm)
- Night shifts (19:30 pm until 08:00 am)
- These will be Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays).
- 9:00am Registration
- 10:00am Welcome & introductions
- 10:40am Presentation
- 11:00pm - 5:00pm Interview
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- NVQ level 2 in acute care or willing to undertake
- Previous work with general public
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative and minimal supervision.

Main duties of the job
You will support our trained nurses in a variety of departments in delivering care. Duties will be dependent on the area but will include:
No previous experience or qualifications are required as we will provide support and full paid training to assist you in developing your skills.
You will be required to be fully flexible and willing to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays:
All applicants will be expected to take an assessment. Applicants who pass this test will proceed to interview stage.
