      We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Consultant with a lot of natural curiosity to join our Analytics Solutions team. The team is a Consulting team and exists of professionals with different backgrounds and expertise, such as: real-world data, Biomedical Sciences, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, business, market research, data analytics, linguistics, communication, and social psychology.

      With our multidimensional solutions and offerings, we are dedicated to drive healthcare forward, together with stakeholders in healthcare. To increase our impact on healthcare, we would like to strengthen our Analytics Solutions team and are therefore looking for a passionate Healthcare Consultant with a curiosity and data driven mindset. Passion for improving healthcare and having a societal impact is a plus.

      Within our team, we partner with commercial, medical and business insights teams in the life sciences sector (Pharmaceutical, MedTech and Consumer Health companies) to support them leveraging and interpreting data and make evidenced-based decisions for their strategy. In recent years, we have extended our partnership with other healthcare stakeholders, such as hospitals, patient organizations, government, healthcare insurers and healthcare researchers. Our team has a strong presence within the Dutch IQVIA organization and our Amsterdam office.       Tasks and responsibilities

      As a Healthcare Consultant, your primary responsibility is to execute client projects in collaboration with Senior Healthcare Consultants or Engagement Managers, and with the support of Associate Healthcare Consultants. You will work directly with healthcare clients and lead projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results, conclusions, and recommendations. Your work environment will be fast-paced and complex, requiring you to balance both recurring and new projects across various disease areas, using a range of methodologies and working in rotating project teams. As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

      • Executing projects under your care:
        • Managing projects from start to finish
        • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and with high-quality outputs
        • Coordinating with colleagues and experts to ensure that the necessary resources are available for your projects
        • Drafting initial conclusions and recommendations, which will be reviewed and aligned with Senior Healthcare Consultants / Engagement Managers and Key Account Managers
        • Developing and maintaining client relationships for projects under your care
        • Presenting project results during client meetings
      • Managing multiple deadlines proactively and developing your own project plans
      • Supporting Business Development and proposal writing efforts
      • Asking relevant questions to internal and external stakeholders
      • Contributing to IQVIA's strategy and positioning by participating in innovation initiatives, such as patient support, AI and Machine Learning, Social Intelligence, collaborations with hospitals, or other third-party organizations.

      Required knowledge, skills & abilities

      Formal qualifications and experience

      • MSc. or equivalent background in biomedical sciences, epidemiology, business, communication, healthcare or other potentially relevant backgrounds
      • ~2-5 years of work experience in healthcare institutions, consultancy, pharmaceutical or medtech industry
      • Proven track record in project management
      • Proven strength in data analytics
      • Affinity with consulting and client interactions
      • Healthcare market knowledge and experience is not required, affinity is a plus
      • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
      • Experience with Spotfire, Power BI, MicroStrategy or other data visualization software is a plus
      • Fluent in Dutch and English

      Location

      Based at our office in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost with the flexibility to work from home. You will join client meetings F2F or virtually.
