What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage billing processes, including member payments and resolving billing inquiries
- Update member information accurately and handle policy terminations and reinstatements
- Provide coverage information and assist with prior authorizations and referrals
- Offer claims status updates and guidance on claims inquiries and reconsideration requests
- Assist members with website troubleshooting and general health insurance questions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- At least two (2) years of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and navigation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to clear a criminal background check

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare terminologies, eligibility, benefits, medical claims, and ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
