What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage member services calls related to policy management, benefits, and claims inquiries
- Process member payments, address billing inquiries, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Provide accurate information on coverage plans, including eligibility and benefits
- Assist members with claims status updates, inquiries, and reconsideration requests
- Maintain confidentiality and escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- At least two (2) years of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to clear a criminal background check
