What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scan, upload, and label case documents into appropriate electronic medical files
- Separate and sort hard copy and soft copy medical files and documents
- Process Utilization Review referrals with strict deadlines and coordinate with Healthcare Professionals
- Respond to incoming calls and provide professional assistance to callers
- Perform data entry tasks and assist administrative staff with overflow work

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer programs/functions, including MS Word, MS Excel, and email
- Basic understanding of medical terminology

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related administrative role
- Familiarity with Utilization Review processes or case management software
- Experience in customer service within a medical environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
