What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Transcribe, edit, and interpret dictation by physicians and clinicians to ensure timely release of medical information to the EMR
- Assist manager/director with mentoring and training of new team members
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medications, anatomy, and physiology for accurate documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required 1 year of Medical Transcription/Editing experience
- Preferred: CHDS (Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist)
- Preferred: Associate's degree in a related field
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards

- Experience with EMR systems and medical documentation processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcription
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
