      What You’ll Do:

      • Lead reporting and analytics initiatives to evaluate health-related solutions and services.

      • Collaborate with workstream Directors to prioritize projects and align analytics with business goals.

      • Develop performance standards and mentor reporting/analytical staff.

      • Conduct opportunity analyses, program evaluations, and data-driven decision-making.

      What We’re Looking For:

      • SAS Programming (2+ years) or SQL expertise for data extraction and manipulation.

      • HEDIS and/or Medicare Stars experience preferred.

      • Understanding of data alignment to HEDIS specifications for accurate reporting.

      • Experience integrating clinical (EMR, Lab) and administrative (claims) data is a plus.

      • Background in Healthplan analytics preferred.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelors degree in a business, healthcare or quantitative field. Masters degree highly preferred.
      • Eight or more years of related business intelligence, analytics and reporting work experience.
      • Three or more years of management experience directly managing/supervising cross functional team(s) or other relevant leadership experience.
      • Experience managing complex projects with diverse teams and developing data driven and outcome based initiatives to improve business decision making and operational efficiencies.
      • Deep healthcare data (e.g., profiling), statistical analysis experience, and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery system processes. Knowledge of program evaluation, predictive modeling, data mining, and clinical best practices preferred.
      • Must have requisite content knowledge related to program outcomes evaluation, BI tools (e.g., Business objects), data visualizations tools (e.g., Tableau), statistical software such as SAS and Modeling techniques, as well as general health service research and outcomes reporting/analytics.

      Responsibilities

      • Align reporting/analytics efforts of individual teams with greater vision & goals of specific Hub/Spoke core teams
      • Leadership competencies with an ability to collaborate and establish working relationships, effective communication across the organization and at different levels, strategic thinking and actions to influence key stakeholders and business decisions
      • Support Program Management in the definition and implementation allowing effective collaboration on roadmaps, dependencies, and execution plans across analytical units and with applicable teams in the organization
      • Manage and execute work portfolios in specific business units of PHS - tools, solutions, & reporting/analytics
