What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for users and customers, providing first-tier technical support
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer operation issues, including password resets and VPN problems
- Document and track requests for assistance while escalating unresolved issues to higher-level support
- Identify, research, and diagnose technical problems in a Windows environment
- Advise users on appropriate courses of action based on identified issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma and 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience
- Basic experience with Windows operating systems
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Applications, Internet Explorer, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and work within Active Directory user, group, and computer accounts
- Basic troubleshooting skills for PC hardware and peripherals, such as printers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience with a High School Diploma, or 2+ years with an Associate's Degree, or 0+ years with a Bachelor's Degree
- Customer service experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, and knowledge of ServiceNow Ticketing System
- Basic understanding of networking technologies and protocols, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client configuration
- Experience with smart cards and remote troubleshooting
