      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Receive and log customer assistance requests, planning and scheduling tasks accordingly
      - Maintain and integrate project-specific hardware and software in a multi-platform LAN or WAN environment
      - Provide local and remote technical assistance for new and existing software and hardware
      - Install and configure Windows, Mac, and Unix-based systems and software
      - Serve as a liaison between IT service desks and customers, ensuring effective communication and support

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - At least four years of experience in microcomputer maintenance and operation, with two years in a networked environment
      - Some college-level education preferred
      - Ability to perform basic system administration of microcomputer operating systems (Windows, Linux, OS X)
      - Good working knowledge of network protocols and the OSI model for diagnostics
      - Must pass pre-employment qualifications of the employer

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - A+ certification or similar credentials are helpful but not required
      - Experience with various resource tracking software (print monitors, disk management, etc.)
      - Strong ability to diagnose computer and peripheral hardware/software issues
