What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exemplary customer service to users on and off campus via phone, chat, and email
- Assist customers with software and tools, including NetID and DUO Accounts, learning software, and collaboration software
- Collaborate with DoIT staff to resolve customer inquiries and ensure case resolution
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Work as part of a diverse team of students to deliver effective technical support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with at least 8 hours during the timeframe of 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Thursday
- Must be willing to work during Summer 2025
- Enrolled and registered as a student in the greater Madison area for the duration of employment
- Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
- No prior experience necessary; all necessary training will be provided
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or familiarity with customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Prior knowledge or experience in troubleshooting software/hardware and internet connectivity
- Ability to work collaboratively with other student employees and full-time staff
