What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Level 1 issues with computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Respond to user requests regarding computer systems via the help desk line
- Acknowledge and log all user requests within defined service levels
- Create and manage service orders (tickets) while assisting users in providing necessary details
- Maintain accurate user information and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong telephone etiquette skills for effective user communication
- Ability to build business relationships and engage with the user community
- Basic troubleshooting skills for resolving common IT issues
- Basic understanding of network, server, and desktop administration, including installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, and equipment
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Experience with remote desktop support tools
