What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform HCC coding on various projects for Medicare Advantage, ACA, and End Stage Renal Disease, ensuring adherence to CMS guidelines
- Assist with regulatory audits by conducting initial coding reviews and ranking of charts
- Participate in ad-hoc projects directed by leadership to meet departmental needs and provide process improvement recommendations
- Engage in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) coding educational meetings
- Maintain coding accuracy and productivity requirements across projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HCC coding and/or coding and billing
- Required certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Coder (CRC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of experience in HCC coding and/or coding and billing
- Associate degree in medical billing/coding, health insurance, healthcare, or a related field
