      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT 4 codes accurately and timely based on physician documentation for various medical records
      - Review and interpret patient medical record documentation to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures
      - Communicate with physicians and other providers regarding documentation requirements and coding accuracy
      - Enter data into the electronic health record system for billing and reporting purposes
      - Maintain current knowledge of coding and documentation changes, rules, and guidelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification with a minimum of one year of current full-time ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding experience
      - Technically competent in electronic health record applications and automated encoders
      - Must be highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate critical thinking skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Pediatric coding experience highly desired
      - Experience using Microsoft Office Excel and Word
      - Goal-oriented, flexible, and energetic disposition
      - Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance
      - Demonstrated coding knowledge and proficiency through an on-site skills assessment
