What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with clinicians and healthcare team members to correct and educate on errors in the medical record
- Ensure downstream systems and databases are in sync with the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Monitor medical records in various stages of correction to ensure all necessary corrections are made
- Communicate the urgency of chart corrections to providers and team members
- Review imaged records for quality, legibility, and data integrity

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Business, or Computer Sciences
- 3-5 years of healthcare, data analysis, or quality improvement experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to perform job functions and make decisions without direct supervision
- Familiarity with chart correction tools in EMR

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with medical record systems and data integrity processes
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols related to medical records
- Certification in Health Information Management or related fields
