What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Ensure accurate coding for both inpatient and outpatient encounters

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a coder, with a focus on inpatient coding
- Certification by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or by American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) as a Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding
