What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the patient insurance authorization process for requested services
- Initiate communication with insurance carriers based on information from the clinical team
- Work proactively with insurance carriers to ensure timely receipt of required payment information
- Advise the clinical team on changes in reimbursement practices from insurance companies
- Educate and counsel patients on their insurance coverage and available payment options

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain ongoing communication with the clinical team during the authorization process
- Capacity to communicate effectively with patients and insurance carriers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with HCHB (Home Care Home Base)
