What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the patient insurance authorization process for requested clinical services
- Initiate communications with patients' insurance carriers for pre-certification/authorization
- Work proactively with insurance carriers to ensure timely receipt of required information for payment
- Advise the clinical team on changes in insurance reimbursement practices related to authorization
- Educate and counsel patients on their insurance coverage and available payment options

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
