South County Medical Group is seeking to add a full-time Physician Nocturnist to our Hospitalist Program in the caring of patients at South County Hospital (SCH). SCH is an 80 bed, non-trauma, community hospital located along the beautiful Rhode Island coast in picturesque Wakefield, overlooking the Point Judith Salt Pond. Our active Hospitalist Program was established in 2004 and consists of physicians, nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. We are a tight knit group that is collegial, hard-working and welcoming.

• Competitive salary range between $300,000-$340,000
• Fully benefited position (403b, 457b, employer match, HDHP available)
• 10-hour shifts, 9p-7a
• Minimum of 12 shifts/month
• Average 4 admissions per shift
• Superb subspecialty support
• Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist support; ventilator management not required
• Procedures welcomed but not required
• Scheduling flexibility to achieve work-life balance and patient continuity of care

We have an excellent team based approach for providing exceptional patient care. Candidates should be BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and will need to be ACLS certified
