      Overview:
      The mission of the Human Resources (HR) team is to attract and retain world-class talent, define and support a strong and winning corporate culture, maintain highly competitive performance-based rewards programs and ensure NXP Semiconductor has the organizational capabilities to be a technology leader to win in the marketplace. The HRM will take the lead for all HR aspects to a specific business line(s) in the US partnering with the global HR Business Partner (HRBP) lead and the HR centers of excellence.

      Job Summary:

      • Partner with the business as the local face of HR, guiding and enabling managers in their people leadership role.
      • Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations and workplace issues, using effective coaching, conflict resolution and investigation skills.
      • Collaborate with the Global HRBP and the HR COEs to create and implement needed HR solutions. Work with teams across, globally, to drive global HR projects
      • Conduct employee/ manager awareness sessions on various HR relevant topics at NXP (e.g. on- boarding, performance management, career development program, etc.)
      • Create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives, in partnership with local stakeholders.
      • Deliver solutions to build employee effectiveness and engagement
      • Use guidelines/policy acumen to problem solve and coach employees and managers, and keep NXP legal compliance
      • Proactively use data analysis and sensing activities to identify themes and make recommendations for improvement. Problem identification, problem solving, and driving decision using data analytics
      • Driving local implementation of performance reviews, promotions, compensation planning and LTI planning, as well as action plans resulting from talent reviews and employee/manager feedback.
      • Participate and contribute to enhance efficiency of the internal HR processes

      Key Challenges:

      • Establish strong relationships with Business Leaders and HR partners: Global HR business partners, Center of Excellence partners (Compensation, Analytics, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Benefits, etc), and HR Managers in other countries.
      • Assist in driving human resources programs and initiatives and processes across the business unit(s) in the US
      • Collaborate to identify opportunities for process improvement and consistency of key HR processes that improve our operating performance and achieve business goals
      • Proactively use data analysis and sensing activities to identify themes and make recommendations for improvement. Problem identification, problem solving, and driving decision using data analytics
      • Provide leadership training, coaching, and development for managers
      • Develop, initiate, roll-out and evaluate local HR Programs, within the global framework

      Job Qualifications:

      • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience
      • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferable
      • Strong analytic skills and ability to influence through data
      • Able to work across highly matrixed organization
      • Proven ability to operate independently and creatively to solve complex scenarios
      • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple HR functional areas including compensation, talent development, leadership development, staffing, and culture
      • Demonstrated experience successfully partnering with executives and managers
      • Experience conducting internal investigations and managing a structured disciplinary process
      • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
      • Knowledge of U.S. employment law
      • Strong business acumen
      • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
      • Demonstrated ability to bring new solutions to complex issues
