- Manage core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention, benefits, and risk management
- Assist Operations leaders in Denver with on site support for hiring, onboarding, and all other HR functions
- Help develop and implement new people systems, procedures, policies, and programs for the organization that provide for employee well-being and protect the organization
- Champion and promote CYM’s values and people-first culture; plan initiatives and events that celebrate and center our growing team
- Partner with all function leaders to promote and train effective people problem solving to ensure root causes are addressed and resolved
- Cultivate and share employee data to help make us better decisions about resources, training, and opportunities
- Conduct benefits orientations and oversee annual benefits open enrollment process , serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding process to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Develop and maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to HR and ensure CYM’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all locations
- Staying abreast of new ideas, trainings, resources, and communication tools to ensure we’re operating with best-in-class systems
- Have 2-4 years experience in Human Resources Management in the restaurant/hospitality industry (required)
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Have a passion for ensuring a best in class employee experience
- Can manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needs
- Are highly collaborative with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Can make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using sound judgment that is consistent with company policies and federal and state laws.
- Possess a drive to implement new and innovative solutions to help solve issues and improve the employee experience
- Understand state labor and other regulatory employment laws in CO
- Can engage with all levels of the organization including all team members and levels of management
- Have the reputation as a leader of high integrity who can be trusted with confidential personal and business information
- Can travel to CYM locations in Denver by car
- Competitive base salary of $80,000-$85,000/year plus bonus opportunity

WE’RE HIRING A HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER BASED IN DENVER, CO
As an HR Manager, you will help oversee the entire employee lifecycle and manage relevant administrative systems. You will make a great leader here if you are passionate about making Call Your Mother an amazing place to work for all team members, from hourly employees to management. You will take a hands-on approach ensuring employees have an environment where they are supported and set up for success. This role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.
Serving as a vital member of our Support team and a key resource for all things people matters, you will coach our teams on employee relations, compliance with relevant laws and ordinances, while championing our strong internal culture. You’ll help oversee benefits administration, employee communication, and people data. As our HR support in Denver, you’ll help support our shop teams with hiring, interviews, and performance management.
