- Be responsible for the day to day running of the HR function, ensuring the operational success and development of HR, working closely alongside the two general managers for GNA and GNH. You´ll be the HR voice and business partner in both management teams providing guidance, coaching and support when needed.
- Provide HR-related support to GNA/GNH leaders (and employees)
- Ensure alignment between global and local HR processes, working closely together with the global HRBP´s
- Manage the ownership for specific employment law topics and ensure that associated policies and procedures and contracts of employment are aligned to any legislative changes
- Manage the dialogue with leaders around sickness, annual leave, maternity leave, and unpaid leave requests
- Responsible for the recruitment and on-boarding of all new starters including producing offer letters, contracts and managing the offer process
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to date employee information on the HR system in Workday
- Responsible that all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc.
- Drive the local talent review process and uncover talent gaps and identify high potential employees

What will you be doing?
Based in Bicester, UK and covering GNA in Langley your work will evolve around 2 key aspects:
Firstly, you will support local management teams across GN Hearing and GN Audio optimising on synergies across and be the HR sparring partner on all HR-related topics.
Secondly, you will secure operational and legal compliance, and you will be handling our high-volume employee life cycle activities within the UK & Benelux markets.
You will be overall responsible for HR in UK & Benelux (app. 200 FTEs) and one of your first tasks will be to employ an operational HR Assistant reporting to you either in the UK or from the Netherlands.

You have a trusting, pragmatic personality, and you know how to really listen. This will enable you to build successful stakeholder relationships and challenge the opinions of your colleagues in a respectful way.
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You want to locate potential challenges yourself, and you are able to prioritise and balance both soft and hard HR-tasks. After all, you have plenty of opportunities to support the employees who create our world of sound.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
As an international organisation with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s essential that you can communicate effortlessly with your colleagues, no matter where they are. As the UK market is your largest, you will need to be able to communicate in English on a business level. Knowledge of the Benelux markets is an advantage.
Extensive HR operational experience in an IT, technology, or telecoms environment
This role is almost as complex as the technology behind our high-quality products. As such, your HR experience should include both managing several tasks and projects simultaneously, working with external partners as well as with HR in an operational role within an international company.
You know your way around UK employment law
And you possess solid HR experience working in the UK.
Technical and recruitment experience
You are an experienced user of Workday or similar HR system, and you have been a part of both recruitment and interviewing processes.
