What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support for HR programs, policies, and initiatives across the organization
- Maintain the HRIS and Payroll system with accurate employee and contractor data
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a positive experience
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave of absences, and policies
- Review and report on new hire surveys to enhance HR practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of related Human Resources experience
- University degree or College diploma in Human Resources or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality outcomes
- Effective communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS system
- Demonstrated knowledge of current employment legislation across provinces
- Experience supporting multi-site operations
- Flexibility to manage changing priorities and adapt to new challenges
