Overview The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) function, using the systems supported by the HRIS function. The HRIS Analyst I is responsible for the daily support and maintenance of Human Resources Information Systems, the implementation of new systems, the improvement of HR-related processes and the development of Human Resources related reports. The HRIS Analyst I assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, process management, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities relating to time, absence, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee records, talent, performance, learning, recruiting, integrations and more, along with process documentation maintenance and development. The HRIS Analyst I also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Duties involve independent judgment and discretion on issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature.

- Provides primary support for Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Provides primary support for SOP controls, data quality audits and processes.
- Ensures documentation and quick reference guides (QRGs) are clear and up to date
- Configures system(s) to obtain optimal system usage and to meet the business requirements of USAP
- Assists in the review and testing of HRMS system upgrades or patches
- Acts as a key member of system implementation team
- Assists in the implementation of systems/applications
- Collaborates with functional and technical staffs to coordinate upgrades and fixes
- Uses analysis and troubleshooting skills to help identify, research and resolve systems and process problems
- Mines and compares data from different sources to draw conclusions
- Partners with HR and other functions to assist in analyzing process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities
- Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes with the intent of moving USAP and HR to higher levels of quality and efficiency
- Understands and use qualitative/quantitative measurement to review process success
- Meets with users, as needed, to complete needs assessments
- Develops specifications for needed reports
- Works with manager to write, maintain and support a variety of complex reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and develop standard reports for ongoing business needs
- Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Provides support to senior level or manager to develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation
Qualifications KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
- Knowledge - of systems, life cycle, Workday and/or iCIMS, HRIS, MS Office, software development, software support, labor law and Service Now is strongly preferred.
- Skills - Skilled professionals with experience in these products and modules are preferred: Workday HCM, Benefits, Time, Absence, Integrations, Reporting, Security, Performance, Calibration, Succession, Learning, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Drive, Worksheets, Projects and iCIMS ATS.
- Abilities - think critically, attention to detail, extreme care with sensitive information, rapid and fluid reprioritization, rapid and accurate responses, thinking outside the box, understanding your customers, ability to turn complex technical constraints into short and simple English and the ability to maintain primary focus on delivering exceptional business value.
- High school diploma required, Associates Degree in related field preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in HRIS field required
