To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Manager. The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure that the company’s HRIS, Workday, is an effective, reliable business tool that grows with our company. The manager will work closely with a team to optimize the user experience and maintain data integrity and compliance. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) experience. This position will report to the Director, HRIS and Strategy.

      Essential Duties:

      • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS management, specifically Workday, including product and service development, delivery, support, and training

      • Examine established processes to ensure efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance; identify gaps, advocate for optimization, and develop new processes as needed

      • Design, configure, test, validate, and document new functionality

      • Develop roadmaps and budgets for major projects; engage and inform leaders and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

      • Identify Workday best practices while participating in Workday ecosystem product groups

      • Develop user procedures, impact analysis, guidelines, and documentation to assist in training

      • Gauge training effectiveness based upon data audits

      • Ensure teams are educated on Workday capabilities to maximize use and alignment to organizational goals

      • Support marketing, training, and adoption of Workday to drive employee and/or manager self-service

      • Provide support, including one on one meetings with direct reports, to ensure they have the needed tools and information for the efficient use of Workday

      • Maintain data integrity in the systems through queries and data analysis

      • Make recommendations for corrections and changes, develop training and improvement recommendations for company-wide system users and administrators

      • Complete root cause analysis of problems and implement solutions; design, develop, test, document, and maintain system setups and configurations

      Job Qualifications and Competencies:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

      • Five (5) years of Workday HCM configuration experience, including Workday post-implementation experience, release management, optimization, and/or backlog management

      • Workday Pro Certified – HCM

      • Understanding of the Workday ecosystem and module touchpoints, specifically Recruiting, HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Expense

      • Ability to collaborate in both virtual and in-person environments

      Work Environment:

      • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

      • 15% travel required

      Physical Requirements:

      • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

      Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

      Starting Rate:

      $104,000.00/Annual Salary - 140,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
