Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HRIS Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes and a proven ability to effectively utilize Workday to support all Payroll and HR functions. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS system, while also providing exceptional support to employees and managers.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Workday Administration - Serve as a key administrator for the Workday HCM system, including configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage data integrity and accuracy within Workday, including payroll, employee records, compensation, benefits, and time and attendance.
- Conduct regular audits of HR data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the implementation of new HR processes and system enhancements within Workday.
- Provide ongoing support and training to employees and managers on Workday functionalities.
Payroll Operations - Assists HR & Payroll Manager with weekly & monthly tasks including, but not limited to, processing payroll, tax files, and reconciliation as well as internal reference programs.
- Assists HR & Payroll Manager with tools and documentation maintenance, testing & development for internal processes.
HR Operations - Assist with various HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, compensation planning, and performance management.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and managers regarding HRIS-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.

System Enhancements - Identify opportunities to improve Workday processes and configurations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing to ensure a smooth transition.
Compliance - Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with audits and data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS - Intermediate HRIS skill needed (Workday)
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an HRIS Specialist or in a related role.
- Must have a Payroll Administration knowledge and understand basic payroll concepts.
- Proven experience with Workday HCM, including core HR, compensation, benefits, and time and attendance modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
