What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in establishing and achieving annual safety, environmental, and security goals
- Conduct and coordinate internal and independent third-party Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental audits
- Evaluate and document contractor performance regarding safety compliance issues
- Provide HSSE training in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Coach employees, contractors, and subcontractors on compliance with safety and health requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental systems and programs
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Safety Management Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
- GWO BST and ART certifications
- Knowledge of GE, Vestas, and Clipper wind turbines
- Experience with electrical safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing deadlines
