What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with executives and leaders to identify departmental needs and collaborate on people and culture plans
- Advise, coach, and counsel leadership and employees on employee relations matters
- Investigate employee complaints and manage progressive discipline processes
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, restructures, and succession planning
- Analyze trends related to human capital and develop proactive strategies for employee relations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations and performance management
- Experience in supporting multi-state business unit locations
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and manage performance improvement processes
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification
- Experience in project management and execution
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing employee relations and performance management systems
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance HR processes
- Excellent presentation skills and experience in delivering informative presentations
