Job Description

- Coordinates and administers recognition programs (e.g. employee of the month program, service awards, birthdays), safety shoe and uniform program for assigned sites.
- Provides administrative support as needed to Executive Team including, but not limited to, screening and documenting phone calls, greeting visitors, creating PowerPoint presentations, scanning documents, coordinating catering events, distributing mail, setting up office space, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, arranging travel accommodations and itineraries and other administrative tasks as requested.
- Responds to unemployment requests, employment verifications, and responds to routine questions from current and former employees.
- Establishes, controls, and maintains an inventory of office supplies (including coffee supplies and copy paper) for the main office; submits orders for other departments as needed while adhering to budget.
- Works with Senior HR Director and HR Managers to develop and lead engagement and community involvement activities (e.g. Activities Committee initiatives, recognition events, company events).
- Conducts phone interviews as needed and participates in new hire orientation and on-boarding activities.
- Completes expense reports, monthly KPI and metrics reports, unemployment and employment verification requests, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and other paperwork according to established company policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of employee personnel records and salary information; {company metrics, including financial and budgetary information and other sensitive and confidential information.
- Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as needed due to workplace demands. Performs other related duties as required.
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience working in a Human Resources Department is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing Executive support and/or support to an HR Department.
- HR Certification is strongly preferred.

Kdc/one is currently hiring at our Columbus, Ohio facility. As part of the kdc/one network, we are the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products! Our Columbus facility is accessible with an easy commute located on RT. 161/Beech Rd. in New Albany.
We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to support our 3 manufacturing sites in Central Ohio.
This role is responsible for assisting and facilitating the Human Resources processes at assigned sites as well as providing Executive office support as needed so the company can meet retention, engagement, and financial goals.
