About this opportunity:
Administers and ensures that the operations of the Human Resources department are in compliance with the policies and protocols of The Salvation Army, and State and Federal laws. Works closely with all department directors to ensure policies and best practices are being followed throughout the hiring, onboarding, disciplinary, and termination processes. Prepares and processes payroll data, provides training and maintains employee paperwork for all personnel within the Area Command. Provides guidance to the Area Commanders regarding employee matters.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, but not limited to the office environment.
