      Position title: HR Manager (Fradley & Bristol DC) Location: Lichfield, UK Reports to: Senior HR Manager, EMEA CS and D&T Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week Direct reports: 2 HR Advisor roles – one located in Fradley and one in Bristol Job summary This role has two main components: 1/ As the single HR Business Partner for our Distribution Centers in Fradley and Bristol, you will be responsible for delivering general HR support (in all domains) to the DC leadership team, coupled with support to the Senior Manager responsible for the D&T and Customer Service functions, including - Development and implementation of HR strategy, policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, - Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. 2/ Support the Cluster HR team and collaborate closely with the UK Payroll team, including - Recruitment activities and the onboarding process - performance and development topics. Key responsibilities: · Serve as HR Business Partner to DC leadership team, supervisors and managers, providing proactive support, coaching and guidance on people related matters, policy interpretation, performance management, problem solving, leave of absence administration etc. · Manage and develop the two HR Advisor roles. · Drive consistency between the two DC sites. · Provide all employee relations support to all distribution center staff (effective case and investigation management in accordance with company processes, liaising with the company’s Occupational Health provider, advising managers/team leaders on the handling of all ER matters). · Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and Supply Chain business partners across the two locations. · Enable the long-term strategy for DC Fradley and DC Bristol, in close collaboration with Senior DC Managers. · Build and maintain close collaboration with the UK Cluster HR Team to have a consistent approach to all HR processes and policies, aligned with all related stakeholders (TR, EMEA Segment HR Leads). · Serve as advisor to DC leadership team on UK employment law and government regulations. · Support the implementation of company safety strategy locally in DC Fradley and Bristol. · Develop and execute recruitment and retention initiatives for the blue-collar population. · Implement incentive programs within the distribution centers in close collaboration with different stakeholders (Local Management committee, Safety lead, DC leadership, etc.) · Support business change and continuous improvement, leading and embedding business change plans in line with targets and initiatives. · Address local issues in line with national legislation and processes. · Support managers to identify and manage high performing / high potential individuals and ensure succession is in place for key positions. · Leverage data do drive improvement in HR related KPI’s (e.g., attrition, employee engagement, safety). · Support the timely resolution of employee concerns in accordance with the company culture and employment guidelines. · Build and sustain a One Newell culture that aligns with the Code of Conduct, and company values. · Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records. · Serve as Subject Matter Expert in relation to consultation, restructuring and redundancy processes. · Support the DC leadership team in the implementation of new workforce management systems. · Ensure actions, initiatives and interventions are carried out in accordance with UK best practice. · Participate in and complete ad hoc projects assigned at management’s discretion.
