What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary support for employees, investigating concerns and resolving issues in collaboration with leadership
- Develop and maintain documentation related to employee relations and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and create training programs for managers
- Analyze and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes for field employees
- Build strong partnerships with managers and internal teams to ensure seamless HR operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in an HR or employee relations role
- Proven experience in leading employee relations investigations from intake to closure
- Strong background in advising on performance management and progressive discipline
- Familiarity with employment law and experience in a multi-location unionized environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and strong analytical skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with leave of absence, workplace accommodations, and workers' compensation claims
- Project management skills for managing multiple initiatives
- Bilingual in Spanish
