What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an advisor and support to management in strategic planning and development of human resource strategies
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching and counseling
- Conduct workplace investigations and communicate employee relations issues to management
- Develop and execute proactive strategies to enhance the employee experience and lower turnover
- Analyze employee engagement data and collaborate with operational leadership to create action plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of four (4) years of Human Resource experience
- Two years of experience developing and implementing successful HR strategies
- Working knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations and performance management
- Two years of labor relations experience, including grievance handling
- HS Diploma or GED; BA in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing HR leadership for multiple sites and/or states
- Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday
- Strong relationship management and strategic HR consulting skills
