What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an advisor to management in strategic planning and development of HR strategies
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching and corrective actions
- Analyze employee engagement data and partner with leaders to develop action plans
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage employee relations issues
- Collaborate with labor relations team on communication, investigations, and grievances
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of four (4) years of Human Resource experience
- Two years of experience developing and implementing successful HR strategies
- Working knowledge of HR disciplines including compensation practices and federal/state employment laws
- Two years of labor relations experience, including grievance handling
- High School Diploma or GED; BA in HR Management or related field preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing HR leadership for multiple sites or states
- Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR desirable
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday
