Job Description

The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the facility. This includes repairing and maintaining HVAC systems, managing inventory, supporting engineering projects, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, Air Handler Units, and Rooftop Units.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Support the Energy Engineering Department with projects and troubleshooting.
• Work with maintenance workers and staff to resolve maintenance problems and coordinate services.
• Maintain proficiency with the Building Management Systems and make recommendations for upgrades.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of Industrial HVAC/Building Maintenance experience.
• Ability to maintain a wide variety of HVAC Systems including chillers, boilers, Air Handler Units, and Rooftop Units.
• Proficiency in using computers and tablets to review work orders, chats, and all communication.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing on roofs for maintenance of RTUs.
• Flexibility to work in other areas outside of HVAC.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70000.00/yr.
