Position Overview: Seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential, multi-family, and light industrial buildings. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Diagnose system issues and develop effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure efficiency.
• Replace or repair components like motors, thermostats, and compressors.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client questions about HVAC systems.
• Assist journeyman technicians with equipment delivery, installation, and troubleshooting.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or HVAC certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• EPA certification preferred.

Additional Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in HVAC installation, electrical work, or mechanical labor.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting 100+ lbs with assistance.
• Familiarity with tools like Impact Drill, Sawzaw, Wire Strippers, levels, and more.

Work Environment

• Team-oriented and dynamic with a busy schedule.
• On-call shifts required every 6 weeks (compensated).
• Workdays: Monday to Friday, 7 AM–5 PM, with potential for 60+ hours per week based on project demand.
• Start days at the job site or shop location. Dress code includes jeans, work boots, and provided company t-shirts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
