What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide oversight of daily rehabilitation services and ensure they meet the needs of the minors served
- Educate Direct Care staff on proper documentation related to Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP)
- Supervise Direct Service Staff and review client assessments and IRPs
- Conduct employee evaluations and assist with hiring and training of staff
- Manage the client discharge process and ensure compliance with therapy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a licensed mental health professional in the state of Maryland (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC) or hold a certification from the Commission of Rehab Counseling (CRC)
- Minimum of 2 years direct care experience working with emotionally disturbed youth
- Availability to work onsite one evening per week to conduct group sessions
- Valid Driver's License and clear driving record
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
