What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Document patient encounters in real-time, including history of present illness, assessment, plan, and physical exam
- Assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes for documentation
- Prepare After Visit Summaries and consult with providers for accurate documentation
- Request and review medical records to support clinical documentation improvement
- Provide administrative support to providers and care teams as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications from a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience
- Advanced listening and communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows
- Ability to commit to at least 1 year in the role (2+ years ideal)
- US work authorization

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering
- Prior scribe or transcription experience
- Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities served
- Ability to type 70+ words per minute
- Ability to adapt to new workflows and learn quickly
