What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger functions
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding account keeping
- Support the Controller with ledger entries and financial reporting
- Contribute to the financial management of construction and government grant-related accounting functions
- Engage in projects and tasks within the first week of hiring to enhance productivity

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong functional knowledge of SAGE Intacct
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Exceptional organizational, communication, problem-solving, research, and follow-up skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with M365 (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and SharePoint

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with construction or government grant-related accounting functions
- Familiarity with GAAP and federal and state grant financial reporting
- Experience in a nonprofit organization or similar sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
