      Position Summary

      As a Staff Security Engineer of Identity Access Management (IAM), you will lead special and enterprise projects within the space for CVS Health. The Staff Security Engineer of Identity Access Management is essential for ensuring the successful engineering and implementation of IAM solutions, which are vital for maintaining the security and efficiency of CVS Health's digital infrastructure. The Staff Security Engineer of Identity Access Management responsible for leading multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously, managing team members, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and align with strategic IAM direction.

      As part of the Identity Access Management (IAM) team, you will spearhead innovative and bold initiatives aimed at optimizing colleague experience and transforming health care by leveraging new and emerging information technologies and channels.

      Additional responsibilities of the Staff Security Engineer of IAM include:

      • Leading team members through the engineering of IAM solutions

      • Coordinating the IAM team’s work and ensuring projects stay on schedule

      • Influencing and aligning key stakeholders

      • Managing implementations and releases via CI/CD strategies

      • Implementing IAM technologies such as LDAP, Neo4J, Java/.NET Development, MySQL, SAML, OpenID Connect, and REST/SCIM

      Required Qualifications

      • 7+ years of direct experience within Identity Access Management (IAM)

      • 5+ years of hands-on technical IAM engineering experience

      • 3+ years of leading team members through the engineering of IAM solutions

      • 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following: JAVA, .NET, LDAP queries, Neo4J, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, and MySQL

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 3+ years of access management experience with SSO and/or MFA

      • General understanding of DevOps Methodology

      • Working knowledge one or more of the following: OpenID Connect, SAML, Neo4J, Ping Directory, or Radiant Logic

      • REST API integration experience

      • Experience writing Linux shell scripts

      • Ability to clearly define and present solution development ideas in a team environment

      • Product Management and Program Management leadership experience

      • CISSP preferred

      Education

      Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

      Pay Range

      The typical pay range for this role is:

      $118,450.00 - $236,900.00


      This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
