      Brookfield Renewable is Now Hiring for Indian Pond Campground Manager

      Do you love working in the great outdoors? Are you someone who enjoys helping others discover the world class recreational and camping amenities Maine has to offer? If so, we want to hear from you! Brookfield is hiring a seasonal full time Campground Manager to support the Commercial Indian Pond Campground. Join our team, overseeing the Whitewater rafting operations at Harris Station and maintaining the recreation facilities throughout the White Pine Assets.

      Position Description:

      • Seasonal, Full-time management position from March 1 to October 31.
      • Responsible for oversight, scheduling and management of a staff of up to 2 full-time and 1 part-time attendants.
      • Responsible for daily campground operations including customer service, security, facility maintenance and sanitation, environmental testing, procurement, and accounting.
      • Responsible to act as a liason for the rafting industry and compliance with license and settlement agreement provisions including inspections.
      • Responsible for oversight of remote campsite maintenance and fee collection.
      • Responsible for implementation of Brookfield policies and procedures.

      Qualifications:

      • Ability to work weekends April - October
      • Ability to work in the outdoor wilderness of Maine
      • Basic experience in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
      • Reliable transportation to travel dirt roads to reporting location at Indian Pond Campground near the Forks, Maine
      • Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Strict adherence to company safety policies.

      Responsibilities:

      • Manage campground attendant staff; reporting to Compliance Specialist
      • Interact with visitors
      • Oversight of maintenance activities including cleaning restrooms, outhouses, shower-house, campsites, and other recreational facilities
      • Keep neat and accurate records and general filing
      • Oversight of collection of remote campsite fees, register operation and other misc. office tasks
      • Assist with facility operations
      • Perform other duties as required
