      Job Title: Entry-Level Civil Engineer E.I.

      Job Description

      This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil / Environmental Engineering graduate with 0-3 years of experience interested in pursuing a professional engineering career in water resources and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure. This individual will join a project team tasked with helping communities and industries solve their most challenging infrastructure problems. The team-based culture effectively fosters learning and growth, especially for entry-level engineers.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
      • Work under the supervision of a project manager or higher-level team member.
      • Perform sub-professional engineering tasks such as fieldwork, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations.
      • Coordinate with contractors.
      • Review construction drawings and specifications.
      • Contact government officials for permits.

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
      • 0-3 years of Civil Engineering experience within Water/Wastewater, Transportation, Site Development, or Stormwater/Drainage.
      • Minimum GPA of 3.2 (transcripts will be verified).
      • Knowledge of Civil 3D.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
      • Passed FE (EI) certification.

      Work Environment

      The office environment is laid back but can be deadline-intensive at times. There is a strong emphasis on family feel and team environment. Dress is business casual. The standard hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start as early as 7 AM or as late as 9 AM. There may be opportunities to work a modified schedule, such as Monday to Thursday for 9 hours and Friday for 4 hours. The role involves a mix of office work and fieldwork, providing a balanced experience.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $35.58 - $36.54/hr.
