      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate planting, maintenance, weeding, and harvesting at the UW Arboretum Indigenous Research Garden
      - Engage with volunteers and assist in organizing garden volunteer sessions
      - Support staff and graduate students in various aspects of the Indigenous Food Systems Project
      - Participate in fieldwork and events related to Indigenous cropping systems and manoomin (wild rice) research
      - Travel to other research sites across the state as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with Indigenous food systems, sustainable agriculture, gardening, forestry, and/or wild harvest
      - Interest in working outside during summer weather conditions
      - Must be enrolled for credit at an educational institution and provide proof of enrollment
      - Ability to pass a criminal background check
      - Preferred: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience
