      Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician


      Job Description

      Maintenance Electricians are responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of systems using electrical, mechanical, and processing skills. PLC experience is desired. The Maintenance Electrician will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.

      Responsibilities

      • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
      • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.
      • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
      • Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
      • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
      • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
      • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
      • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records.
      • Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
      • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
      • Experience with installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical components.
      • Skill in testing electrical and electronic equipment and components.
      • Proficiency in maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing electrical motors and control systems.
      • Ability to conduct preventive maintenance programs.
      • PLC experience is desired.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Two-year degree in an electrical-related field is a plus.
      • A minimum of five years of industrial maintenance electrician experience is preferred.

      Work Environment

      The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $33.50 - $38.00/hr.
