      Hiring Bonus - $3,000 - Starting Rate - $29.95 to as much as $37+ based on skills

      Our Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly-automated food manufacturing environment. Primary responsibility is in troubleshooting/resolving immediate issues, line/factory continuous operations, removal and installation or various mechanical and electrical equipment/components, as well as, performing preventive and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.

      In order to qualify for the hiring bonus, you must:

      • Meet/exceed the hiring experience and qualifications for the role
      • Interview and be identified for hire
      • Pass multiple assessments
      • Clear background screening, which includes a physical, hearing and drug screening

      Experience

      • 2 years' work experience in an automated industrial manufacturing facility (ideally, doing maintenance related work with packaging and/or processing equipment).
      • Thorough knowledge of:
        • Use and repair of motor controls, sensors, and gearboxes
        • Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
        • PLC's - Troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, TI, Siemens, Wonderware) (programming a plus)
        • Use and knowledge of electrical test equipment (multimeters, amp meters, etc…)
        • Proper drilling and tapping techniques
        • Proper pulley/sheave installation and alignment
        • Basic principles of industrial maintenance
        • Use and repair of mechanical & conveying systems
        • Installation and repair techniques for all pneumatic and hydraulic systems (water, steam, air, and natural gas)
      • Working knowledge of:
        • Industrial safety, machine safety and safeguarding techniques
        • Basic industrial math applications, principles and reasoning to solve problems
        • Basic principles of combustion
      Education:
      • High school or GED: (High school courses in math, mechanical drawing and/or shop)
      • 2 years Technical or vocational training preferred
