As a HVAC Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a deep understanding of complex HVAC systems, including large-scale heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems

What you will do:

• EPA Certification (Required)
• Reads diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Troubleshoots, inspects and examines machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjusts HVAC and repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on HVAC UNITS
• Assembles machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
• Schedules routine preventative maintenance work.
• Makes recommendations to management and engineering for improvement of preventative maintenance practices.
• Recommends replacement of equipment as required and assesses the condition of used equipment prior to purchase.
• Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on HVAC equipment
  - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  - Analyze system malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic tools
  - Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  - Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical problems
  - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an industrial mechanic apprenticeship program; or equivalent.

Required Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of related company instructions and company processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
• Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods.
